Overnight Moves
Today, we looked at 13 charts; below are only a few. Join us in the morning call on Discord to see it all. Let’s have a look at the overnight moves. Yesterday started with sells in the Semiconductor sector, but most of the losses were regained during the day. The market also saw some recovery in certain areas, like Gold and Silver, while others like Platinum and Palladium remained in place. We also learned from Coca Cola (KO) and VISA’s (V) earnings that the consumer market is still spending, despite the economic disruptions brought about by the conflict. But perhaps the biggest news coming out yesterday was the United Arab Emirates withdrawing from OPEC, which will likely have a dramatic effect on the organisation, and the oil market as a whole.
Going into today, we recommend keeping an eye on the earnings and Fed Interest Rate Decision scheduled for today, but we expect the market to be a slow one overall, as most of the big events of today will take place after hours.

Semiconductors
Semiconductors remain the main theme in the market. Yesterday they started with a dramatic drop but regained a good amount of their losses, which leads us to consider the possibility of Monday’s levels becoming a top in the short term. This will pressure the A.I. sector, and it remains to be seen if and how they will be able to maintain their gains.

Earnings
We have over a dozen major company earnings scheduled for today, which we recommend keeping an eye on. Listed below are a few, which we believe will be the most interesting, starting with the earnings scheduled pre-market.
Humana (HUM)
Humana is a major U.S. health insurance company with earnings scheduled for premarket today. Keep in mind that certain other health insurance companies like Molina (MOH) and UnitedHealth (UNH) saw gains of more than 3% yesterday, so Humana’s might be most interesting to you.

SoFi Technologies (SOFI)
SoFi is the largest online bank in the U.S. and it is most known for competitive student and personal loans. They will have earnings in the pre-market today.

Alphabet/Google (GOOGL)
Alphabet is a tech-giant that deals with a variety of fields in the broader tech industry, including A.I. and software development. We intend to keep a close eye on its earnings, scheduled today, after hours.

Microsoft (MSFT)
Microsoft is mainly a software company, which following ServiceNow’s (NOW) earnings last Wednesday, has performed better than others in the sector. All eyes are on Microsoft now, as its performance impacts the direction of the Software sector as a whole in the near future.

Amazon (AMZN)
Amazon is another giant with a wide array of tech and commerce interests. Its earnings are scheduled for after-hours today, and it’s worth keeping an eye on, as its performance can impact, or be used as an indicator for a number of sectors and industries

Meta (META)
Meta, colloquially known as Facebook is known for its social media and communications platforms. It’s also a major software and A.I. developer, and its earnings today will likely impact those sectors.
