Herenya Capital Advisors (Pty) Ltd, FSP No. 47080, is an FSCA-licensed Financial Services Provider providing stockbroking, asset management and related investment services.
Velocity Trader is Herenya Capital Advisors’ appointed trading platform service provider. The Velocity Trader platform provides the technology and infrastructure through which Herenya’s clients can access and operate their trading accounts.
Herenya Capital Advisors remains responsible for the financial services and investment-related services provided to its clients, while Velocity Trader provides the underlying trading platform and related technology services.
TradingView is an online financial market analysis and trading platform that provides charts, market data, technical analysis tools and trading capabilities. In simple terms, TradingView allows a trader to view and analyse financial markets visually, using charts and indicators, and – where supported by a connected broker – to place and manage trades.
Your Herenya Velocity Trading Account can be connected directly to TradingView.
The integration works as follows:
- Open a Herenya Velocity Trading Account and ensure that the account is active and funded.
- Log in to TradingView and link your Herenya Velocity Trading Account with TradingView – instructions will be provided.
- Once connected, you can view supported instruments, analyse charts and place and manage trades directly from the TradingView interface.
The TradingView integration does not create a separate trading account. Your trading account remains with Herenya/Velocity Trader, while TradingView provides the charting, analysis and trading interface. Herenya confirms that the integration is free for its clients, with the applicable brokerage fees and commissions still applying.
Please Note: the cost of TradingView subscription is for the client’s account, bearing in mind free subscription is also available.

Stockbroking Accounts
If you are interested in trading, or making use of a stockbroking account, we have R500 minimum deposit requirement to open a Herenya Velocity Trading account. You may then buy and sell shares and other financial instruments as you choose. You are completely in control of your money at all times, make all the buying and selling decisions yourself, and can withdraw your funds at any time, subject to the applicable account and regulatory requirements. Our Trade Desk can also assist with trade execution and platform-related support should you require assistance.
Managed Investment Accounts
If you would like Herenya Capital Advisors to manage your funds in a long-term investment portfolio, we can provide a managed investment account solution tailored to your investment objectives and risk profile.
Your funds remain your property and are held in a segregated investment account. Herenya Capital Advisors acts as your Authorised Investment Manager and, in accordance with the agreed investment mandate, makes the investment decisions and executes the relevant buying and selling transactions on your behalf.
The minimum investment required for Herenya Capital to manage your account is –
- R50,000.00 for a local, South African-focused managed investment account.
- US $20,000.00 for an offshore, United States-focused managed investment account.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide managed investment account services for investments below these minimum amounts.
