Tax Clearance required for offshore investing
SARS permits an annual foreign investment allowance of R10 million for individuals, and an annual discretionary allowance of R1 million per year. The latter does not require a tax clearance certificate. Our Fixed pricing for stocks, ETFs (Exchange Traded Products, or ETPs) and warrants charges a fixed amount per share or a set percent of trade value, and includes all commissions, exchange and most regulatory fees with the exception of the transaction fees, which are passed through on all stock sales.
